Mark S. Johnson | Executive and Artistic Director
Mark began his work with the Minnesota Boychoir in 1992 as the accompanist and was hired as the Artistic Director in 1993. Mr. Johnson holds a degree in vocal music education from St. Olaf College and he taught general and choral music at Central Junior High in Forest Lake for six years before becoming full-time conductor of the Boychoir. From 1995 to 2007, he was a member of the staff at Albemarle, a summer music camp program of the American Boychoir School in Princeton, New Jersey. Mr. Johnson’s reputation in choral work, especially with children’s groups, has led to many invitations to work as a clinician, accompanist and adjudicator for honors choirs and festivals across the globe.
Under his direction, the Minnesota Boychoir has performed at local, regional and national ACDA, MMEA and Kodály Conventions, at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., the Sydney Opera House, Saint Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican and La Sagrada Família in Barcelona. Mark has led the choir on nearly 50 performance tours and released 20 compact discs of a variety of music sung by the Boychoir. Professional memberships include Chorus America, the American Choral Directors Association and the Minnesota Music Educators Association. Mark has also served as the American Choral Directors Association Repertoire and Standards Chair for Boy Choirs at the state and regional levels.

Todd E. Price | Accompanist
Todd Price has been at home behind a piano for over forty years, twenty-five of them here in Minneapolis. He has been with the Minnesota Boychoir since 1998, working as a composer, accompanist and arranger. In addition to his work with the Boychoir, he has accompanied local/global reigning pageant queen of comedy Miss Richfield 1981 for fourteen years, and has played for adult ballet classes at Zenon Dance Company for the last nine years. He has been musical director for MinnnRoast, MinnPost’s annual gala fundraiser, for the last three years, and for the last year has been a member of Prosody, the songwriting collaboration headed by Denise Prosek of Theater Latte Da. He is in demand as an accompanist for ACDA honors choirs and he still can be heard playing at ComedySportz Twin Cities every once in awhile.

Anna Keyes | Managing Director
Anna Keyes was hired as Managing Director in September 2014. She holds a master's degree from New York University and has worked in non-profits in New York City, India, and the Twin Cities. In her position with the Minnesota Boychoir, Ms. Keyes oversees fundraising, accounting, and program support. A music aficionado and choir girl in her youth, she met her husband singing tenor in a choir on their study abroad program.

Phillip Radtke | Assistant to the Director
Phillip Radtke has been involved with the Minnesota Boychoir since 2001 when he joined the choir as a singer. Upon graduating from the choir he continued to volunteer and help with choir events from backstage leadership to tour chaperone. In 2016 he was hired as Assistant to the Executive and Artistic Director to help integrate music theory into rehearsals, and assist in running rehearsals. Phil holds music degrees from the University of Minnesota and the University of Michigan. He currently also serves as Cantor at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Minneapolis.

Amy Driscoll | Development Manager
Amy Driscoll currently serves as Donor Relations Manager for the choir. She has helped helm several of the choir’s fundraising programs and served as secretary on the board of directors. She sings in Adult Choir and is the mom of 2020 Boychoir graduate Chris Williams. Amy lives in Plymouth with her husband Dale, her mom Nancy, and their dog, Magpie.
