Choirs of the Minnesota Boychoir
The Artistic Director, Mark Johnson, places boys based on their vocal development, including pitch and tonal memory, as well as sight-reading ability, music theory knowledge, poise and maturity. He also considers the voice parts needed. Every boy who auditions is accepted into the Minnesota Boychoir and has the potential to advance to Cantabile. However, the rate of development varies with each boy.
